Hoa Hao Buddhism contributes over 21 billion VND to flood-hit people in Central region

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in the whole country has sent cash and necessities with the total value of over 21 billion VND to people severely affected by floods in the Central region.  

These reliefs has been contributed and raised by the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church, Representative Committees of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in 16 provinces and cities, Hoa Hao Buddhist executive boards at grass-root level, and Hoa Hao Buddhist followers, from October 20 to November 17.

In addition, representative committees of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in provinces and cities has organized relief delegations for visiting and presenting cash and relief supplies to flood-hit people in Central region.

Hoa Hao Buddhist Church currently sets up representative committees in 16 provinces and cities included An Giang, Can Tho, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Ca Mau, Ben Tre, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, Long An, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Hau Giang, Dong Nai, Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, and Ho Chi Minh City.
