A Buddhist procession on occasion of the Buddha’s Birthday 2015 celebration was held on May 25 at the Central VBS’s Southern office in An Quang pagoda.
Attending the ceremony were dignitaries, monks and nuns from the city VBS Executive Committee and the VBS Executive Board in the city’s 24 districts.
The procession of a baby Buddha statue was carried out with the national and Buddhist flags, groups carrying out gongs, drums and followers, and a Buddha bathing ceremony conducted by the city VBS’ Executive Committee and the Committee’s Rituals and Ceremonies Board.
