From August 20 to August 22, 2014, at To Hien Thanh church, the Youth Committee under the General Confederation of Evangelical Churches of Vietnam (Southern) in coordination with the Protestant Representative Committee in Ho Chi Minh City held a training workshop for Children Boards and teachers of churches in the locality, with a participation of about 350 people.
Attending the training workshop included pastor Phạm Trọng Huy, Member in charge of Children and Youth Committee under the General Confederation of Evangelical l Churches of Vietnam (Southern) and several pastors and teachers. In the congratulatory speech, pastor Phạm Trọng Huy emphasized children’s role in the Church’s future as well as the role of these children’s teachers. He also expressed his expectation that, after completing the training, participants would better educate and assist the children to become useful people. Pastor Nguyễn Ngọc Tốt cited the Bible in Bamidbar 32:16-17 in order to encourage and remind trainers of their responsibilities. In three days, teachers Phạm Xuân Trí and Trần Thị Diệp will train and deliver contents for telling Bible stories for workshop participants./.
