Ho Chi Minh City: New Protestant congregation comes into sight.

On May 17th, 2013, the Chinese –origin Tuyên Ân Đường Protestant congregation held a ceremony for thanksgiving and coming into sight. 

Attending the ceremony were representatives from the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Confederation of Evangelical Churches (South Church), local authorities and a large number of Protestant followers of the Chinese and Vietnamese chapters.

Pastor Thái Phước Trường - the First Vice President of the Vietnamese Confederation of Evangelical Churches shared the Bible’s theme “Good Christian work”. The Tuyên Ân Đường congregation was founded more than 40 years ago, and currently belongs to Lương Nhữ Học chapter. The congregation was allowed to operate in early 2014, and administered by evangelist Tô Ngân – the superintendent of Lương Nhữ Học chapter.

This congregation is also the first Chinese congregation in Ho Chi Minh City after 1975.
