On January 5, Minh Ly religion solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate its 92nd founding anniversary at Tam Tong Temple in District 3, Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC).
Attending the ceremony included Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Tấn Hùng, representatives from other religions, dignitaries of the Church Council of Minh Ly religion and followers inside and outside the locality.
Minh Ly religion was established in 1924 by civil servants in Saigon. Minh Ly religion was recognized by the State of Vietnam with full title as "Minh Ly religion- Tam Tong temple" in 2008 and current has over 1,000 followers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Trần Tấn Hùng praised practical contributions by the Church Council of Minh Ly religion over the past years. He also encouraged the Church Council to uphold fine traditions, contributing to promote socio-economic development and maintain security and social order in the localities.
