Ho Chi Minh city: Buddhist leader extends Christmas greetings to Catholic Archbishop

Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng, Vice President of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council cum Head of Ho Chi Minh city VBS Executive Committee led a delegation to visit Ho Chi Minh city Archdiocese Cathedral on December 21 on occasion of Christmas 2015.

Archbishop Bùi Văn Đọc of Ho Chi Minh city Archdiocese, President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam and priests of Ho Chi Minh city Archdiocese Pastoral Centre welcomed the Buddhist delegation.

At the visit reception, Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng extended best wishes and merry Christmas to Archbishop Paul Bùi Văn Đọc and Catholic followers. According to the Most Venerable, Catholicism and Buddhism, the two largest religions in the city, have maintained its fine relation and worked towards for interests of the country and its people.

Archbishop Paul Bùi Văn Đọc expressed his sincere thanks to Most Venerable Thích Trí Quảng and the Ho Chi Minh city VBS’ Executive Committee for their Christmas visit.
