On November 13, on behalf of the Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh city Archdiocese Bùi Văn Đọc, Priest General Vicar Hồ Văn Xuân presented VND 200 million to the Ho Chi Minh city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) for supporting the Fund “for the poor”.

On behalf of the city VFF, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ngọc Phong expressed his thanks to the Archdiocese office for its supports to the poor in the city.

It’s reported that in response to the peak month "for the poor" and celebrating 85th anniversary of the VFF (November 18, 1930 – November 18, 2015), the city VFF organized an art program entitled “Love melody - join hands for the poor” at the HCMC Television (HTV) Theater and broadcast live on channel HTV9 on November 14.
