Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission Trần Quốc Vượng paid a visit on August 24 to Tan Thanh Pagoda in Lang Son province’s Van Lang district.
Welcoming the guests included Venerable Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee Thích Quảng Truyền.
During the visit, Chairman Trần Quốc Vượng offered incense to the Buddha and encouraged the provincial VBS Executive Committee to continue upholding the Vietnamese Buddhist traditions of safeguarding the homeland and bringing peace to people. The Chairman also planted a memorable tree at Tan Thanh Pagoda.
