On October 4, the Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hanoi held a ceremony to open the school year 2015-2016 at Phu Linh commune, Soc Son district.
Attending the ceremony included members of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Executive Board of Vietnam Buddhist Academy in Hanoi, about 500 monks, nuns and a large number of Buddhist followers.
Distinguished guests at the ceremony included Director of Buddhist Affairs Department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Hữu Dược and representatives from the central agencies and Hanoi authorities.
During the ceremony, the Executive Board also presented a certificate of merit to several students for their excellent learning achievements over the past year.
