Hanoi municipal Party Committee held on December a meeting to review five years implementing Directive No. 18-CT/TW dated January 10, 2018 of the Politburo continuing the Resolution 25-NQ/TW of the 9th Party Central Committee on religious affairs in new situation.

The event saw the presence of Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyễn Thị Tuyến, Chairwoman of the city Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyễn Lan Hương, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Council Phùng Thị Hồng Hà and Chairman of the municipal Party Commission for Mass Mobilization Đỗ Anh Tuấn.
As reported at the event, over the past five years, the municipal authorities and social political organizations in the city have effectively implemented the Directive No. 18-CT/TW dated January 10, 2018 of the Politburo on religious affairs in new situation.
Local agencies in charge of the state administration on religion have stepped up dissemination of religious laws, coordinated with concerning agencies in the city and the people’s committees in districts to solve practical issues relating to religion, and promulgated guiding documents of the state administration on religion in accordance with the law.
Besides, the municipal authorities has funded the repair of 184 belief and religious relics (4 special national-level relics, 114 national-level relics and 63 the city-level relics).

On the occasion, 10 groups and 10 individual have received certificates of commendation from the municipal authorities for their outstanding contributions in implementing the Directive No. 18.
