According to Ha Tinh province’s Huong Son district People’s Committee, Hai Thuong Lan Ong Festival in the district will begin on February 27, 2018.
The Hai Thuong Lan Ong festival will include ceremonial and entertaining activities such as an incense-offering, procession and peace praying ceremonies at the tomb of Great Physician Lê Hữu Trác located in Huong Son district’s Son Trung commune and cultural performance and sports.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has recognized the Hai Thuong Lan Ong Festival as a national intangible cultural heritage on October 13, 2015.
