On February 16, Hai Phong diocese solemnly held a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its pastoral centre and nursing home for retired priests in Hai Phong city’s An Duong district.
The event saw the participation of the diocese’s Vicar General, priests from Trang Quan-Dong Gioi parish and construction board, clergymen, clergywomen, and Catholic followers.
According to the design, the pastoral centre and nursing home will be built into one building with 86m long, 21m wide with seven stories, one chapel, nine meeting rooms, and 138 single rooms, on a total construction area of 14,000m 2.
