The Catholic delegation was welcomed by Vice Chairman of Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee Hồ An Phong and representatives of concerning agencies and departments.

During the visiting reception, Bishop Nguyễn Anh Tuấn highly appreciated the effective work for the Covid-19 prevention and control in Quang Binh province and presented 200 million VND to Quang Binh authorities for supporting the pandemic prevention work in the province.

Speaking with the guest, Vice Chairman Hồ An Phong informed the current pandemic situation and stated that the Covid-19 outbreak in Quang Binh province has basically been under control and the number of new Covid-19 patients has decreased.

The Vice Chairman thanked the Bishop, priests and parishioners of Ha Tinh province for supports extended to Quang Binh provincial authorities in the pandemic prevention work. He expressed hope that Ha Tinh diocese would continue encouraging members to observe the pandemic preventive measures and make practical contributions for the socio-economic development of the locality.

On the same day, Ha Tinh Diocese visited the field hospital under Bac Quang Binh general hospital based in Law college in Central region in Dong Hoi city and donated 100 million VND in cash and essential supplies including milk, lemon juice to doctors and nurses at the field hospital.
