Ha Tinh authorities review 10-year implementation of Directive on the marriage, funeral and festival

The Party’s Committee in Ha Tinh province held on July 26 an online conference to review the 10-year implementation of the Directive 20-CT/TU dated on March 20, 2012 on strengthening the implementation of a civilized lifestyle in the marriage, funeral and festival.
At the meeting
The event was co-chaired by Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Trần Thế Dũng, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Võ Trọng Hải and about 11,000 participants from 233 online conference venues at districts and communes.
During the event, participants reviewed results in the implementation of the Directive and discussed practical solutions for implementing the Directive on marriage, funeral and festival in the coming time.
As reported, over the past ten years, local people have raised awareness and enhanced their responsibilities and obligations to implement the Directive and the Party's and State's documents on the implementation of a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals.
In ten years, the province has more than 81,800 weddings held with cultural lifestyles, including 632 weddings taking place in civilized and saving manner and more than 59,400 funerals held according to the cultural lifestyle, including 1,900 cremations.
