Ha Tinh authorities invest 6 billion VND to preserve traditional values of Chut ethnic group

Ha Tinh provincial People’s Committee on October 18 approved for the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to prepare a project on preservation of traditional values of Chut ethnic minority people in Rao Tre village, Huong Lien commune, Huong Khe district.
The project's goal is to promote and preserve the traditional culture of Chut ethnic community in the province, contributing to the local tourism and socio-economic development of the ethnic people.
The project would propose the building of a community center, restoration and preservation of important cultural festivals of the ethnic community as well as its language, folk songs, traditional crafts and traditional costumes traditional musical instruments of Chut ethnic group, etc.
The total investment of this project is proposed at six billion VND.
