On Sept. 18, Vice Chairman of Ha Giang provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Minh Tiến led a delegation to visit and meet with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council at Quan Su pagoda in Hanoi city.
Welcoming the delegation included Most Venerable Vice Standing Chairman of the VBS Executive Council Thích Thanh Nhiễu, Venerable Deputy Secretary cum Chief of VBS Central Office (North) Thích Thanh Điện.
At the working meeting, the two sides exchanged on typical Buddhist activities to be conducted in Ha Giang province in the coming time with the aim to promote cultural values and preserve national traditions, especially values and traditions of unity and harmony, contributing to socio-economic development in the locality.
