Ground breaking ceremony for construction of Hoa Hao Buddhist temple in An Giang

The Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in An Giang province’s Cai Bau district held a ground-breaking ceremony to construct the main hall of Buu Hoa temple on March 6.

Attenidng the ceremony were Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of Hòa Hảo Buddhist Church  Nguyễn Tấn Đạt, reprsentatives from local authorities and about 200 Hoa Hao Buddhism followers in the locality.

As reported at the event, in addition to the main hall of Buu Hoa temple to be built on an area of approximately 1.500 m2, there will be supporting facilities to be constructed, facilities including a water reservoir, water pumb house, gate, fence, etc. The hall is expected to be complete in one year with a total cost of nearly VND 6.5 billion contributed by followers and private donors.
