An offering incense ceremony to mark Tran Kings and the 717th death anniversary of General Trần Hưng Đạo was held on October 9 in Nam Dinh city.
The ceremony took place in Thien Truong and Co Trach temples under the Tran Temple-Thap Pagoda historical and cultural relic site.
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Trần Văn Chung, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phạm Đình Nghị, representatives from local authorities and a large number of people from localities.
The ceremony aimed to pay respect and gratitude to General Trần Hưng Đạo and Tran Kings for their contributions in the cause of national construction and defence.
Right after the offering incense ceremony, many cultural activities took place including lion and dragon dances, wrestling, cock fighting, and a water puppetry performance.
