A festival featuring the northern mountain region’s folk culture was held on February 15 – 19 (from the 11th to 15th day of the first lunar month) in Ea Tam commune, Krong Nang district Dak Lak province.
The festival featured many activities highlighting Northern region’s folk culture such as nem con (throwing con through the ring on the top of the con pole), pushing sticks, shooting crossbows, competitions for making traditional cakes, singing competition, etc.
The festival aimed to preserve the typical cultural characteristics of Northern ethnic communities living in the Central Highlands.
