The representative committee of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Phu Yen province for 2023-2024 term was officially elected on September 7.

The election taking place at Hoa Xuan evangelical church in Dong Hoa town saw the presence of Pastor Phạm Sính, Commissioner of the ECVN in charge of pastoral affairs in Phu Yen, representatives from local authorities and 44 delegates from ECVN’s chapters in the province.
The event selected three members to the ECVN’s representative committee in Phu Yen for 2023-2024 tenure with Pastor Trần Quốc Việt elected as Chairman of the committee.

Earlier, the ECVN’s representative committee in Dak Nong province has reviewed its activities for 2020-2022 tenure and elected its personnel for 2023-2024 tenure at a meeting held in Bu Dak evangelical church in Thuan An commune of Dak Mil district.
Attending the event included Pastor Lemous Philemol, Commissioner of the ECVN in charge of pastoral affairs in Dak Nong, Pastor Y Djrên from the ECVN’s committee for clergy affairs, and about 200 delegates from evangelical chapters in the locality.
Representatives from the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities have also attended and extended congratulations to the meeting.
The event selected five members to the ECVN’s representative committee in Dak Nong for 2023-2024 tenure with Pastor Điểu Phi chosen as Chairman of the committee.
