A delegation from the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) and its representative committee in Ninh Thuan province paid on January 22 a visit to Ninh Thuan provincial Committee for Religious Affairs on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.
The evangelical delegation included Pastor Phan Văn Cử from the ECVN (South), Pastor Võ Thành Phê in charge of pastoral affairs in Ninh Thuan province and Pastor Nguyễn Chí Tín from the provincial evangelical representative committee.
Speaking at the visit reception, while extending Tet greetings to officials and staff of the provincial committee for religious affairs, Pastor Phan Văn Cử took the chance to thank the Committee for creating favorable conditions extended religious affairs of the evangelical church. He expressed hope that the church would continue encouraging followers to proactively join hands with local authorities in social, charitable programs and movements.
In welcoming the delegation, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Tấn Thuyên called on the evangelical church and its members to make further contributions for the socio-economic development in the province. He took the chance to extend a traditional New Year of peace and happiness to the Pastors as well as all members of the church.
