Five pastors were formally ordained by the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) at a ceremony held on August 19 at Bac Lieu Protestant Church in Bac Lieu province.
Attending the ceremony included Pastor Vice President of the ECVN (South) Thái Phước Trường, Pastor Chairman of Council of Clergy Lê Hoàng Long, pastors of the Interrogation and Ordainment Council and over 700 Protestant followers from localities. Local authorities’ representatives also joint the event.
Five commissioned pastors promoted as pastors included Superintendent of Trang Bang Protestant Church in Tay Ninh province Phan Thế Lữ, Superintendent of Hoa Binh Protestant Church in Bac Lieu province Tô Văn Minh, Superintendent of Thoi Binh Protestant Church in Ca Mau province Võ An Ninh, Superintendent of U Minh Protestant Church in Ca Mau province Huỳnh Anh Tuấn, and Superintendent of Cho Lach Protestant Church in Ben Tre province Đỗ Phước Thạnh.
