The General Confederation of Evangelical Churches of Vietnam (ECVN) (Southern) ordained seven new Pastors at a ceremony held in Protestant D’Jrah church, Di Linh district on March 20.
Seven newly ordained pastors included commissioned pastors K’Táo, Ha Chem, Võ Đông Tiên, Võ Hồng Sơn, K’Mốk in Lam Dong province and Phan Bửu Sơn in Ho Chi Minh city.
This event was processed by Pastor Phan Quang Thiệu, General Secretary of the ECVN and attended by Pastor Cil Múp Ha Kar, Member of the Clergy Council cum Chairman of the provincial ECVN Representative Board, and over 800 Protestant dignitaries, deacons and followers in the locality.
Local guests at the ceremony included Chairman of Lam Dong provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức, Vice Chairman of Di Linh district People’s Committee Lâm Thị Phước Linh.
Currently, there are 42 pastors, 12 commissioned pastors and 51 evangelists under the ECVN (Southern) in Lam Dong province.
