The construction of a new church of Bui Gia Phuc I Evangelical Chapter under the Evangelical Church of Viet Nam (ECVN) (South) located in Binh Phuoc province was commenced at a ceremony held on November 20.
The event taking place in Bu Gia Map district’s Phu Nghia commune saw the presence of Pastor Vice President of the ECVN Nguyễn Hữu Bình, Pastor Member of the ECVN’s Executive Committee Điểu Huynh, members of the evangelical’s representative committee in Binh Phuoc, representatives of provincial authorities and a large number of members of the evangelical church.
Bui Gia Phuc Evangelical Church Chapter was established in 1979. The original church of the evangelical chapter was built in 1993 and was renovated for the first time in 2017.
The construction of the new church, a Christian educational center and supporting facilities has the total construction investment of over 8.5 billion VND.
Bu Gia Phuc I evangelical chapter currently has 150 households with 790 members.
