Hoa Phu evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Phu Yen province’s Tuy Hoa district solemnly held the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its church and Christian educational centre on March 24.

Present at the event included Pastor Phạm Sính, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Phu Yen, pastors of Representative Committee of the ECVN in the province, representatives from local authorities, and about 100 members of the evangelical chapter.
During the event, Pastor Phạm Sính performed ground-breaking rituals and prayers for the church construction.
The construction of the new church and a Christian educational center has the total investment of about 2.5 billion VND.
Earlier, the construction of a new church of Song Dinh chapter under the Evangelical Church of Viet Nam (ECVN) (South) located in Binh Thuan province’s Ham Tan district has also been kicked off.
Attending the ground-breaking ceremony included Pastor Võ Thành Phê, Commissioner of the ECVN (South) in charge of pastoral affairs in Binh Thuan, and pastors, commissioned pastors, missionaries in the province, representatives from local authorities.

As reported, Song Dinh has been granted a certificate of land use right by the provincial People’s Committee in 2020 and approved for the construction of its worshipping church in April 2021. The construction of the church and supporting facilities has the total investment about six billion VND.
