A delegation from the Ethnographic Institute under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences led by Dr. Head of Religious Research Division Trần Thị Hồng Yến met with the Religious Affairs Committee in An Giang province on October 05.
The meeting focused on the state management on Khmer Theravada Buddhism, Islam and Hoa Hao Buddhism in the province.
As part of the working visit to learn about the religious life and state religious affair in An Giang province, the delegation planned to visit the province’s districts of Tinh Bien, Phu Tan and Tan Chau Commune from October 05-17.
