The Cultural Festival of ethnic groups in Kon Tum 2019 took place on November 27-28 in the province’s Kon Plong district.
The two-day event drew the participation of over 200 artists from 28 ethnics groups including Xo Dang, Ba Nar, Gia Rai, Gie Trieng, B’Rau, Ro Mam, H’Re.
The event featured traditional performances and activities introducing typical cultural identities and customs of the province’s ethnic groups.
On the occasion, the provincial authorities have awarded the Meritorious Artist title to 31 artists in the field of the intangible cultural heritage in the 2nd phase.
