The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has signed Decision No. 270 approving a plan for inspecting the management of festivals in localities in preventing the spread of the new coronavirus (nCoV) which causes acute respiratory disease.
According to the approved plan, the inspection delegations of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism include the Department of Local Culture Affairs, the Department of Cultural Heritage and the Ministry’s Inspectorate.
The inspection delegations shall check the management and organization of festivals in the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Vinh Phuc, Khanh Hoa, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hung Yen and Nghe An and Ha Tinh in February 2020.
Main contents of the inspection include the implementation of the canceling or reduction of scale, duration and activities of festivals in localities for ensuring conditions for disease prevention and control under the guidance of the Ministry of Health.
