A delegation of the Social and Medical Board of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) conducted a medical charity program on April 16 for poor and disabled people in Vung Tau city’s Phuoc Thang.
The medical charity program was held in collaboration with Vung Tau city’s Red Cross, Vietnam Orphans and Disabled People Sponsors’ Association, Sponsoring Association for Poor Patients and Learning Promotion Association.
During the event, the delegation conducted health checks, free distribution of medicines for over 400 poor patients, donated 200 medical glasses and presented 300 gift boxes to children.
On the occasion, the charity delegation and superintendents of Phuoc Thang and Vung Tau Protestant Churches attended a ceremony celebrating of the Vietnamese Disabled People Day (18/4) held by the city’s charitable and social associations.
