Four commissioned pastors were ordained by the Interrogation and Ordainment Council (IOC) under the General Confederation of Evangelical churches of Vietnam (ECVN) at a ceremony held on August 5 at Protestant Dâng Nglung Church in Đak Nong province.
The ceremony was chaired by Pastor Chairman of the IOC in first region Nguyễn Ngọc Thuận and attended by Protestant dignitaries from the IOC and Dak Nong provincial Protestant Representative Committee, and about 500 followers inside and outside the province.
Representatives of Đak Nong provincial Committee for Religious Affairs also attended the ceremony.
Four newly ordained pastors include commissioned pastors Y Kem Niê, Y Nham Niê and Y Siơh in Dak Nong province, and commissioned pastor Nguyễn Văn Năm in Gia Lai province.
