The Chairman’s visit was accompanied by Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Quốc Vũ and representatives of the province’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization.

During the visit, while extending congratulatory wishes to the Xuan Loc Diocese’s new Auxiliary Bishop John Đỗ Văn Ngân, Chairman Nguyễn Phú Cường expressed his hope that in his new position, the Auxiliary Bishop would continue promoting the fine relationship between the local authorities and the diocese, as well as encouraging Catholic priests and followers to actively engage in social-charitable activities in the province.
