Dong Nai provincial Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) organized a conference on August 27 to honor typical followers of Catholicism in the locality at the meeting hall of Hanoi parish in Bien Hoa city.
Attending the conference included Priest Chairman of the provincial CSVC Trần Xuân Thảo and 200 typical Catholics in the province.
Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Committee Vy Văn Vũ and Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Thanh Hùng also attended the event.
On this occasion, 12 collectives and 47 individuals have been awarded the certificate of merit of the provincial People’s Committee for their outstanding contributions in 2010-2015 period. The CSVC also presented a medal of merit to 35 typical dignitaries and followers and the provincial CSVC awarded a certificate of merit to 233 typical collectives and individuals.
