The Buddhist Intermediate School in Dong Nai province held a ceremony to celebrate its 12th founding anniversary on March 15 at its facility for nuns in Long Thanh district.
Attending the ceremony were Most Venerable Thích Minh Chánh, member of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Discernment Council cum Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee; members of the Management Board of the school and the provincial VBS Executive Committee, and about 1,000 Buddhist dignitaries and followers inside and outside the locality.
Local guests at the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Thanh Hùng and local authorities’ representatives.
Currently, Buddhist training in Dong Nai province has fully established three educational levels: Elementary, Intermediate and College, with the Buddhist Intermediate School as the most important institution./.
