Quang Nam provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a on April 10 a dissemination meeting on the new Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding Decree 162 to local officials and key followers of religions in the province.
The event saw the attendance of Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Võ Xuân Ca, heads of the VFF district –level executive board and representatives of religious organizations in the locality.
The event covered key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion and the Decree 162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the new law, including the right to use religious scriptures and express religious beliefs, the non-commercial legal entity of religious organizations, religious training, foreign-related ordainment and fundraising by belief establishments and religious organizations.
