Extra sessions on the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 were held at Buddhist places hosting the summer retreat 2019 in the southern province of Tien Giang on June 14, 20 and 25.
Attending the legal sessions co-organized by the provincial committee for religious affairs and the summer retreat organizing committee included 281 monks and nuns attending the summer retreat course taking place in Pho Duc pagoda for nuns, and Vinh Trang pagoda and the provincial Buddhist school for monks

During the legal sessions, representatives of the provincial religious committee introduced new contents of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and administrative procedures in the field of religion as prescribed in the new law, as well as provided explanations on practical issues relating collective-religious practices, lawful places for holding religious services and activities, etc.
