The Disciples of Christ Church under Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church and its eleven-member management board made its debut at a meeting held on August 18 in Hanoi.
The event saw the participation of Pastor Head of the Church’s Executive Committee Huỳnh Huyền Vũ, Pastor Deputy Secretary of the Church’s Executive Committee Đỗ Mạnh Cường, heads from Protestant meeting groups under Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church in the Northern region.
Representatives from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and the city authorities also attended the event.
The Disciples of Christ Church was established from a Protestant meeting group registered by the local government with the participation of 120 memmbers and its headquarters located in Xuan Thuy street, Dich Vong Hau ward, Cau Giay district.
During the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the city Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Đức Tuấn presented the approving decision of the city People’s Committee to the Disciples of Christ Church.
The Church Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church also announced the decisions on the establishment of its chapter and appointment of its 11-member management board headed by Pastor Đỗ Mạnh Cường.
The Disciples of Christ Church is the first church established under the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church in the North region,
