Director of Hanoi Public Security Department receives Protestant pastors delegation from Hanoi International Fellowship

On May 29 2014, a Protestant pastor delegation from Hanoi International Fellowship (HIF) led by pastor Jacob Bloemberg, Head of the HIF paid a working visit to Hanoi Public Security Department. Colonel Nguyễn Đức Chung received and exchanged with the delegation.

At the meeting, pastor Bùi Quốc Phong said that the HIF has bout 500 people from 40 countries and territories who are employees of international organizations and diplomatic agencies in Vietnam. He also shared about favorable conditions created for HIF’s religious activities.

Colonel Nguyễn Dức Chung Director said that the Vietnam’s Party and State and local authorities always respect the right freedom of belief and religion. The Hanoi Public Security Department has a duty to maintain public security and order, and will do it at most to ensure peaceful life for Vietnamese and foreigners in Hanoi. He added that the Hanoi Public Security Department is willing to listen and coordinate for religious activities conducted favorable and in accordance with the law.
