On occasion of the working visit to Thua Thien Hue province, Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Trương Hòa Bình visited the Vietnam Buddhist Institute in Hue city on August 27.
Speaking with Buddhist dignitaries of the Institute, Deputy PM Trương Hòa Bình highly appreciated practical contributions of the Institute in training monks and nuns for Vietnam Budhdist Sangha and expressed hope that the Institute’s executive council, teachers and students would bring their wisdom and dedication to the development of the Buddhist Sangha and the country.
On the occasion, the Deputy PM also visited Tuong Van pagoda and paid tribute to late Most Venerable Thích Chơn Thiện, Deputy Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Discernment Council, Principal of Vietnam Buddhist Institute in Hue.
