Phuoc An Protestant Church under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in Dak Lak province held on June 16 a ceremony to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Attending the event included Pastor President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) Phan Vĩnh Cự, Pastor Chairman of the Protestant Representative Committee in Dak Lak province Huỳnh Cường, representatives of the Protestant Representative Committee in provinces of Quang Nam, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Kon Tum, Gia Lai and Dak Nong, and about 900 followers from localities.
Representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities also joint the event.
During the ceremony, representatives of ECVN Executive Committee, local Protestant churches and local authorities presented congratulatory flowers to Phuoc An Protestant Church. On the occasion, Phuoc An Protestant Church donated VND 10 million to the poverty alleviation fund of Phuoc An town.
