Da Nang provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee reviewed its performance 2015 at a conference held on Jan. 11 at Phap Lam pagoda
Attending the conference were Most Venerable Thích Như Thọ, Member of the VBS Discernment Council cum Chairman of the provincial VBS Executive Committee, Buddhist dignitaries and followers in the city.
Local guests at the conference included Vice Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Trần Việt Dũng and Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Khôi.
During the conference, delegates also discussed and approved Buddhist affairs plans for 2016. The meeting also called on Buddhist dignitaries and followers to proactively join in the provincial VBS’s programs of activities and movements launched by local authorities for social-economic development in the city.
