Tan An Protestant Church under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) held on July 14 a ceremony to formally announce the establishment of its Phu Loc Protestant Congregation in Da Nang city’s Thanh Khe district.
Attending the meeting included Pastor Member of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) Executive Committee Võ Đình Đán, Pastor Chairman of the Representative Committee in Da Nang city Dương Quang Hòa and about 200 Protestants in the city.
During the ceremony, Deacon Secretary of Tan An Protestant Church Lê Văn Lân briefed the history and development of Phu Loc Protestant Congregation, as well as handed over the decision on the recognition of the Congregation.
Local authorities’ representatives also took part in the event and presented congratulatory flowers to Phu Loc Protestant Congregation.
