On May 10, 2014, the Hai Chau chapter, Da Nang city under the Vietnam Evangelical Church (Southern) held a solemn ceremony to celebrate 50th founding anniversary (1964 - 2014)
Attending the ceremony were pastor Thái Phước Trường, the Church’s first Vice President, leaders from local state authorities, Protestant dignitaries, deacons and believers inside and outside of the province
The ceremony proceeded with prayers, singing of hymns and welcoming speeches. Pastor Thái Phước Trường preached the Bible and reminded believers of gratitude expressed through thanksgivings. In the same day, Pastor Võ Đình Đán preached the theme “the blessings of thanksgiving” in the Holy Bible, Psalm 100.
