A solemn Thanksgiving Mass for the establishment of Da Minh Parish under Da Lat diocese has been held on August 8 at the parish’s chapel located in Lam Dong province’s Bao Loc city.
Da Minh parish in Tan Ninh village, Loc Chau commune, Bao Loc city has been established from part of Tan Bui parish, and currently has 1,350 parishioners with Priest Nguyễn Hữu Giang formally appointed as head of the parish.

As reported earlier, Lam Dong provincial People’s Committee approved on July 30 for Da Lat diocese to establish Da Tong deanery in Dam Rong district and six new parishes of Da Minh, Le Bao Tinh, Ka Ming, Xa Lung, Tan Van and St. Paul.
And so far, Da Lat diocese held thanksgiving masses for the establishment of parishes of Xa Lung and Ka Ming in Di Linh district, Le Bao Tinh in Bao Lam district, and St. Paul in Da Hoai district.
