On June 27, 2014, at Bao Loc church, Da Lat diocese, a ceremony was held for conferring priesthood on 18 clergymen, including 13 seminarians, 3 clergymen from the Congregation of most Holy Redeemer and the other two from Society of Apostolic Life Incarnation - Consecration - Mission
The holy ceremony was presided by Bishop Antony Vũ Huy Chương of Da Lat diocese and joint by Bishop Võ Đức Minh of Nha Trang diocese, The ceremony was attended by about 250 priests inside and outside Da Lat diocese, together with approximately 5,000 Catholic followers and relatives of 18 new priests.
Included in the ceremony were preaching and unique rituals for conferring the priesthood for the selected clergymen by Bishop Antony Vũ Huy Chương. New priests stated their obedience, blessed the audience and prayed together. The ceremony took place in solemn and joyful atmosphere with full of joy for both the new priests and the diocese.
