The Correction-Path Caodai Church held on August 15 the annual general conference for the 94th religious year at Ben Tre Holy See located in Ben Tre province.
Attending the one-day conference were Superior Nguyễn Văn Lãnh and Cardinal Thái Mạnh Thanh from the Caodai Church’s Upper Council, Principal Archbishops Thái Thuận Thanh and Ngọc Phụ Thanh from the Church’s Standing Committee, and 213 delegates from the Church’s all 191 Caodai parishes across the country.
Guests at the event included Vice Chairman of the Religious Affairs Committee in Ben Tre province Nguyễn Hồng Quân.
As reported at the event, in the past year, the Caodai Church contributed over 24 VND billion in value to social charities, including supports to the poor and victims of natural calamities, and medical care to poor patients.
