As reported at the 4th congress of the Association in Support of Vietnamese handicapped and Orphans (ASVHO) in Tien Giang province, the Buddhist board under the ASVHO has contributed over VND 16 billion for supporting poor patients, people with disabilities and orphans in the locality for the last five years.
During the event held on August 9, the provincial ASVHO, provincial People’s Committee and the VFF in Tien Giang province presented certificates of recommendation to the Buddhist board for its outstanding contribution in supporting the disadvantaged.

Speaking at the event, Venerable nun Head of the Buddhist board under the ASVHO Thích Nữ Tịnh Nghiêm stated that the Buddhist board will continue gathering supports from Buddhists and sponsors for the less fortunate in the locality.
