Da Te Protestant chapter in Lam Dong province’s Duc Trong district under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (Southern) solemnly held the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its church on May 24.
Attending the ceremony were Pastor Deputy Secretary of the ECVN (Southern) Nguyễn Ngọc Thuận, Protestant dignitaries, representatives from local authorities and about 600 followers inside and outside the chapter.
Da Te chapter was established in 1973 and its original church has seriously degraded after over 40 years of existence. The new church will be built with 28m long, 12m wide. In addition, functioning facilities for the church pastor and Christian education will also be built.
