The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee in Yen Bai province held on October 10 a groundbreaking ceremony for its headquarters based in Tung Lam pagoda in Yen Bai city.
The event saw the participation of representatives from concerning local authorities and large numbers of Buddhist monks, nuns and followers in the locality.
The new headquarters will be built on an area of 1,250 m2 at an estimated cost of nearly VND 11 billion and expected to be completed in May, 2019
