Thanh Loc Protestant Church under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) located in Kien Giang province solemnly held on March 24 the ground-breaking ceremony for construction of its church.
Attending the event included Pastor Member of the ECVN (South)’s Executive Committee in charge of pastoral affairs in Kien Giang province Lê Hoàng Phúc, pastors from the church’s Representative Committee in the province and about 300 Protestant followers of the church.
Thanh Loc Protestant Church was established in 2008. For meeting current needs of religious activities by local Protestants, Kien Giang provincial authorities approved for Thanh Loc Protestant Church to build its new church with 24m long and 9m wide, at an estimated cost of VND1.5 billion.
