Loc Thuan Protestant Church in Ben Tre province’s Binh Dai district under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) solemnly held on October 6 the ground-breaking ceremony for construction of its church.
Attending the ceremony included Pastor Deputy Secretary of the ECVN (South) Nguyễn Ngọc Thuận, pastors from the ECVN’s Executive Committee and the Protestant Representative Committee in Ben Tre province, and large numbers of Protestant dignitaries, deacons and followers. Representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and local authorities also joint the event with Protestants.
The new church of Loc Thuan Protestant Church will be built on an area of 280m2 with 10m wide and 28m long, and at an estimated construction cost of nearly VND 2,4 billion.
On this occasion, representatives of local authorities and Protestant churches in the province also extended congratulatory wishes as well as presented gifts to Loc Thuan Church.
